Testimonials

Being an avid golfer, I was constantly frustrated with regular sunscreen that burned my eyes. The burning was not just an irritation to the eyes but it also affected my game because it blurred my vision. When I was told about Block & Stop SPF30™ by a fellow golfer, I was a little hesitant to try it because the application process was not what I was used to with traditional sunscreen. However, I couldn't believe that brushing on the sun protection versus rubbing it in with my hands, was actually what attracted me the most about the product. Now, I no longer have greasy hands or slippery grip after applying my sun protection and I can even reapply with my golf glove on! I can honestly say that because of Block & Stop SPF30 ™ my golfing experience has improved; now I just have to work on my game!

I am a commercial airline pilot for one of the nation's largest airlines. As most pilots are aware, they are at a higher risk for skin cancer. For this reason, I wear sunscreen everyday as part of my daily regiment. I highly recommend a product by BareSport Minerals, LLC called Block & Stop SPF30™. I can wear it every day and not even feel it or see it on my face. What makes it great for travelers is that the product is not a liquid, so there is no worry about airline security regulations with liquids or any messy spills in the luggage. I wore a comparable product by Peter Thomas Roth called Instant Mineral SPF. I recently switched to Block & Stop SPF30™ because I like its brushstick applicator better, and for a much bigger reason - THE COST - it is 30% less. I keep one Block & Stop SPF30™ brushstick in my flight kit for travel and another one at home.

I love this sunblock! I am a runner and I am training for the New York Marathon putting in hundreds of miles each week in the heat of the day, and did I forget to mention, I live in sunny Florida. My skin is oily and all of the regular sunscreens that I have used tend to break me out and I hate the greasy feeling and shiny face that they give me. Regular sunscreen actually makes my skin burn and it also burns my eyes when I sweat. With Block & Stop SPF30™, I can just brush it on and I'm off and running. I can wear it alone or over my makeup since it has a transparent finish that blends in naturally with my skin. I no longer have breakouts and I can even say that my skin has actually improved since I've been using it. Block & Stop SPF30™ is the only sun protection that I will ever use.

#1 Dr. RECOMMENDED SUNSCREEN -
Block & Stop SPF30™
As a physician who has had basal cell carcinoma skin cancer, I have done extensive research to find the best UVA/UVB sun protection product. What I found is that physical barrier sunscreen like Block & Stop SPF30™ is the safest & most effective option. Physical barrier sunscreens contain zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that work immediately upon application with no wait time of 20-30 minutes that chemical sunscreens hae. Physical barrier sunscreen like Block & Stop SPF30™ work by deflecting/blocking the sun's UVA/UVB rays similar to a mirror or foil. Chemical sunscreens can be absorbed into the skin, are more likely to cause irritation and allergy, and degrade over time and work by absorbing the sun's rays. So, hands-down, physical barrier sunscreens are the best choice and are more likely to be recommended by physicians.
